Does my patient data leave the office or hospital?
Absolutely not. Zebra is designed to operate on-premises. All data remains on your servers or workstation. No patient information is sent to the cloud, our servers, or any third party. We guarantee full compliance with the GDPR and strict medical confidentiality standards (Swiss and European).
Who has access to the generated reports?
Only authorized personnel with an open session on the local machine have access to the data. The software does not create any remote accounts or backdoors. Furthermore, final report validation always requires manual intervention and the digital signature of the responsible physician.
Is my data backed up?
Zebra generates the files (Word/PDF) directly into your usual local folders. Backups therefore depend on your own infrastructure (local server, NAS, or internal backup solution), giving you complete control over your archiving strategy.
Which ultrasound scanners are compatible with Zebra?
We verify native compatibility with major manufacturers, including Philips and GE (Vivid), by interpreting standard DICOM and CSV formats.

Is the installation complex? Do I need to change any hardware?
No. Zebra installs directly onto your existing Windows workstation. No new hardware is required. Integration typically takes less than an hour, with minimal configuration to connect to your ultrasound scanner’s data stream.
Does the software work without an internet connection?
Yes, absolutely. Because Zebra runs locally, it’s 100% operational even without internet access. You can capture, analyze, and generate reports under any circumstances. A connection is only required for occasional software updates or to contact our support team.
Can I export reports to my electronic health record (EHR) software?
Zebra generates standard files (Word .docx and PDF) that are universally compatible. You can save them to a folder monitored by your EHR, send them via secure email, or import them manually. We are also working on direct connectors for certain hospital systems.
How much time can I save per exam?
On average, our users save between 20 and 30 minutes per report to generate. On a typical day of 5 to 10 ultrasounds, this represents more than 3 hour of administrative time saved, which you can reinvest in your patients or reduce your working hours.
Does the tool replace my medical diagnosis?
No, never. Zebra is a writing assistant, not a doctor. It provides data interpretation and structured text based on validated algorithms, but the doctor retains complete control. What happens if the ultrasound data is incomplete?
